A caregiver can be responsible for the complete care of your children. Duties of a live-in caregiver include tending to the child's basic physical needs, meal planning and preparation, laundry and clothing care, organization of play activities and outings, intellectual stimulation, assisting with homework and transportation. Housekeeping responsibilities would be primarily child-related. As well, the caregiver is the liaison between the parents and the children and must communicate effectively between both parties.
